or are hard to open

- Window and door trip developing spaces

If any of these problems exist in your home the Foundation Helix
Pier may be the solution you are looking for. Foundation Helix Piers can close cracks
in mortar joints, cause windows to open and close with less binding and make doors
easier to close. But possibly the most important aspect of the Foundation Helix
Pier is that this cost-effective system usually does not require heavy equipment
to be completed, and it can be installed year round in tight spaced in just a few
days!
Push pier system
The push pier system
will stabilize your foundation. First your
home's footing is attached to a series
of heavy industrial strength steel push pier brackets. High pressure equipment then
hydraulically drives rugged steal piers into solid bedrock or proper load-bearing
state. (This is all underground, nothing is exposed.) Each pier will then be individually
anchored and tested for successful load-bearing. Once it is determined stable, the
weight of your home is carefully transferred from its unstable soil to rock-solid
piers. Your home or commercial building will be secure with the pier system permanently
in place and hidden from view.
A few additional benefits of the grip-Tite push pier
system are:
- No heavy equipment
- No long waiting periods
- Can be installed in
limited access areas
- Faster and lower cost than old-fashioned methods
- Can be
installed year round.
New Construction Helix
Homes today more than ever are being
built on unstable soil. In time, with foundation settling this can lead to structural
and foundation repairs that are very costly. Using a Grip-Tite helix Pier System
prior to construction enables homeowners to avoid costly foundation repairs in the
future.
Helix piers work by allowing the weight of a building to be transferred
from unstable ground to load bearing piers. These piers are screwed mechanically
into deep stable soils. These secure piers provide a stable foundation for your
home to rest on.
In new construction support, a new construction bracket is placed
on an anchor which is installed between footings, and then tied to re-bar. Finally
the concrete is poured.
To assure that the helix plates reach load bearing soils
to provide the required structural support, pier shaft extensions are added.
The
grip-Tite New Construction Pier can provide reliable and economical support in nearly
all soil conditions.
Wall anchor system
Are your basement walls cracked,
bowed, or bulging? Grip-Tite's wall anchor system can help stabilize and secure
deteriorating basement walls. The wall anchor system will work on all types of basement
walls such as: concrete block, clay block, poured concrete, timber and stone.
The
wall anchor system installation begins with technicians inserting a steel anchor
rod through the wall into the outside earth. Next, a steel anchor is attached to
the rod through a vertical hole in the ground. To finish installation, a steel wall
plate secures the rod to the inside basement wall.
Grip-Tite's wall anchor system
offers a solution to cracked, bowed, or deteriorating basement walls without having
to build a new basement wall. Completely rebuilding a wall involved excavating around
the wall which is expensive, time consuming, and destructive to landscaping. Click
